The thing is, AJR make such intense, creepy music that i can't NOT like it. it's "two people," happiness and forever are their "names," who live in "ballard," "washington." they're friends with one wm. rage, former proprietor of enterruption and the electric heavyland, who a long time ago decided they needed some media attention and as such started releasing and promoting their material. since "they're" so secret i'm pretty sure he's the only person with direct contact to "them." sketchy.
anyway, this release is a reexamination of alfred jarry's "the passion considered as an uphill bicycle race," and it's a solid mix of regular drone, dark atmospheres and sheer talent. live it & love it.
